Over the summer, I became obsessed with the Food Network. Ina Garten and Giada DeLaurentis are my homegirls (but not Sandra Lee because her cocktails always look disgusting). Now all I ever do is cook/bake things. My friends have become accustomed to sitting on the little foot stool in my tiny kitchen and talking to me while I bake something or other. Tonight I'm making Pappa Al Pomodoro, which is this really cool Italian tomato soup that's thickened with cubes of Ciabatta bread. The recipe is from Ina's cookbook and it looks pretty sweet.
Anyway, the picture attached to this post is of the blueberry crumb cake I made a little while ago. Hope it looks tasty. I'll post a picture of the soup when it's all done.
