topshop topshop topshoppppp <3

So I FINALLY got a chance to go. I wanted to go last week, but alas, there was a line wrapping around the street corner. But that doesn't matter anymore. I actually got to go. I actually got to swim in a sea of amazing Britishness.

I spent at least an hour and a half there (an hour actually shopping and a half an hour waiting on line to get a dressing room). There was so much pretty clothes, I couldn't bear it. I ended up grabbing 4 dresses and a skirt. I wish I had pictures to post of them online, but I have them on my phone and to put them on the internets would take too much effort for me.

Anyways, I ended up buying a dress. ^^

They give you a tote as your shopping bag too. I love it when stores do that (though the ones they had earlier are much cuter, in my opinion...)

words, words, words II

León Ferrari

Mira Schendel

I don't know if you've noticed, but recently, I've had this sort of obsession with text in art. Words, though just typically thought of as just... well... words, are just as powerful and effective on their own visually. I know I'm probably the worst language learner in the world, but I always love looking at words and characters and alphabets. Lame, I know.

But anyways, I took these images from a new show from the Moma (which is, btw, the best museum on this planet. The Met can shove it) which features both Mira Schendel and León Ferrari. It looks pretty killer if you ask me.
